Today I bought a copy of The Age, just to check if my letter had been published. 
To my surprise, it was! I'm over the moon, telling anybody or anything that crosses my path. It's the first time I have written a letter to a newspaper, and guess what, it was published!

 Today, I had another shift at work. 
Somehow we have escaped getting our pay docked, as offically our hospital doesn't admit patients during the weekend.

Whew!

I have spent all day in a daze. I can't believe what happened yesterday.
I was meant to work on my 2 assignments that are due soon, but I can't concentrate.

I never thought the IR laws that were reformed last year would effect me.

Well today they have.

I had the shock of my life when I went to work this afternoon. I knew our union was renegoitating a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, but I didn't attend the meeting Tuesday afternoon when they decided to take 'unlawful industrial action'. In the past, ( Read more... )
